Why Should I Care About Transit in the GTA?

January 21, 2013 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Transit in Cities

Transportation is at the heart of every big city in the world. People need to get from where they live to where they work, and eventually get to where they want to play.  An estimated $3 billion a year is lost due to traffic congestion in the Greater Toronto Area.
Please join us in welcoming Leslie Woo, Vice President of Policy and Planning at Metrolinx and John Tory, radio host and volunteer chair of the Greater Toronto CivicAction Alliance, for a discussion about transit in Toronto.  It’s important to understand where we are and how to get where we want to be.

Join us at the Duke of York (39 Prince Arthur Avenue) on Monday, January 21. Doors open at 7:00pm, discussion starts 7:30.

RSVP for an entry for our doorprize.
