Housing Affordability – Policy Solutions vs Feel Good Policies

What really makes housing in Toronto so expensive? Is it really the influx of new immigrants? Overseas purchasers? Rapid population growth? Will lane way houses solve what our looming affordability crisis?

John Lorinc, editor at Spacing Toronto , and Annabel Vaughan, architect at ERA architects, and co-editors of the upcoming book “House Divided” join us at on July 15 to discuss housing affordability in Toronto. What are some solutions and what are feel good policies that do little for renters and potential buyers.

We will be at the Madison Avenue Pub (14 Madison Ave) on Monday July 15. Doors open at 7:00pm. Discussion starts promptly at 7:15pm.
