Legalizing Marijuana – Impacts of Legislation

November 20, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

There’s now marijuana legislation on the table and we’re less than a year away from seeing it implemented. Police forces across the country are hoping for more time to implement while those in the industry question what’s taking so long. Meanwhile, provinces are asking for clarity on the matter.

Few people have campaigned as long and as hard for the legalization of Marijuana as Jodie Emery. Known as Canada’s “Queen of Pot”, Jodie has been at the front lines for decades. Jodie will be joining us for our talk on Legalizing Marijuana and what it means for Canadians. Dr. Paul Sandor, a researcher at CAMH who has been investigating how cannabis can treat Tourrette syndrome will be speaking about the impact he thinks the new legislation will have on the medical community.

Join us November 20, at the Madison Avenue Pub. Doors open at 7:00pm, discussion starts promptly at 7:30pm.

Please RSVP to let us know you can join us!
