Reducing Toronto’s City Council

September 24, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

What impact will a reduced city council have on the campaign already underway? Will it impact quality of representation? Will Council become more efficient? Will disadvantaged communities be better or worse off? What can we expect transit planning to look like with fewer decision makers?

Matt Elliott, best known for his columns in Metro Toronto, and David Rider, the Toronto Star’s city hall beat reporter will be joining us Monday September 24 to lead our discussion on what this change means for the people of Toronto, and how we to make the most of the this representation.

We will be at The Madison Avenue Pub (14 Madison Ave). Doors open at 7:00pm. Discussion starts promptly at 7:15pm.

As always, our events are free, but you do have to pay for what you order. Please RSVP to let us know you will be joining us!
