Electricity Pricing in Ontario

May 15, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Amid soaring electricity bills, the future of the grid we rely on is in crisis.  Efforts have been made to reduce electricity costs by stretching out payments, an expensive option that affects our children more than us.

What is the future of the electricity grid? Can costs come down and still give us a grid that businesses and residents can rely on?  Will new technologies make this important piece of public infrastructure obsolete?

Join us on Monday, May 15 as Afreen Khan, Senior Policy Advisor at the Office of the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario, and Michael Pohlod, Manager at Just Energy Labs, lead a discussion on Ontario’s electricity future.

We will be at the Madison Avenue Pub (14 Madison Ave) on Monday May 15.

Doors Open 7:00pm. Discussion starts 7:30.

As always the event is free, you just have to pay for what you order.  Please RSVP to let us know you will be joining us.
