Why Should I Care About Casino Toronto?

March 25, 2013 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

FREE

Is it a good bet?

There has been a lot of discussion lately about whether or not Toronto should have a casino.  The consultation period is over but in reality, the pros and the cons of such a development have not been well explained to Torontonians.

WSIC will be hosting a discussion about the costs and benefits of having a Casino. We’ll strip away the rhetoric and try to have an honest discussion about what a Casino really means to this city. Paul Burns from the Canadian Gaming Association, Mike Yorke from the carpenter’s union, and Rosario Marchese, MPP for Trinity Spadina (the riding that could play host to a casino), will be leading the discussion.

Join us on Monday, March 25, at 7pm at the Duke of York, and get your questions answered. If you just want to sit, listen, and have a drink, that’s fine too. As always, the event is free. (A small donation would be appreciated, but not mandatory).

Please RSVP using our Eventbrite page. Doors open 7:00, discussion starts at 7:30.
