Federal Election – Getting Involved

September 16, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

At WSIC, no matter the party you support, we encourage everyone to get involved in elections. Some parties are better at getting the vote out than others.

With just over a month before the next election, come find out how you can get involved and make a difference.

Professor John Beebe, Advisor to the Dean on Democratic Engagement at Ryerson University, Velma Morgan, Chair, Operation Black Vote Canada, Ali Manek, Executive Director at The Canadian Muslim Vote all join us on Monday Sept 16. They will discuss ways to get involved at the local level, avenues to volunteer, and strategies they use to promote higher levels of civic engagement.

Come and find out how you can make the most impact this coming election.

We will be at the Madison Avenue Pub (14 Madison Ave) on September 16.

Doors open at 7:00pm. Discussion starts promptly at 7:15pm.

RSVP to let us know you are joining us.
