National Pharmacare – Should we or shouldn’t we?

October 7, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

National Pharmacare

While Canadians pride ourselves on having universal health care, not all Canadians have access to prescription medication. Should this be something covered by the state? What does an ideal national pharmacare program look like? Given the system we already have, is this achievable?

Dr. Danyaal Raza, Physician at St. Michael’s Hospital and health care advocate, and Brent Fraser, VP Pharmaceutical Reviews at the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technology in Health, will be joining us on October 7 to discuss what they think an ideal federal pharmacare program should look like, as well as what might be realistic given the health care infrastructure already in place.

We will be at the Madison Avenue Pub (14 Madison Avenue). Doors open at 7:00pm. Discussion starts promptly at 7:15pm.

Please RSVP to let us know you are joining us.
