Until the 1980s, Toronto had a healthy mix of professional and working class neighbourhoods. About a decade ago, demographic data showed our city had somehow split into three.

1.    Downtown core: rising property values, investment and incomes.

2.    Inner suburbs: changing demographics, but stagnant economic prospects.

3.    Outer suburbs: struggling with poverty and lack of investment.

How can we mend the city to become one again?  Is this possible without massive investment?

Join us Monday April 18^th to hear Dave Hardy, a planner at Hardy Stevenson, and John Stapleton, a fellow at the Metcalf Foundation, debate how we can mend the city and become one again.
